xvid does not rember debug settings. Why?

Hi everyone. I am using Xvid unstable builds, as a result, if i try to apply qpel,bframes, or some other advanced options, Vdub(mod) crushes, without any massage. I have celeron processor(p4) (1700mhz). I read all the relevant threads and know now how to solve my problem - i have to unckeck SSE2 optimization in Xvid sittings. And than everying goes fine. But here is rising another problem. For some reason, Xvid is unable to remember these debug settings and when i open Vdub(mod) next time, settings are default once again, and i have to change them again and again every time i open Dub. I have no idea why is this happening, because all other settings Xvid can remember, like location of stats file,settings of all advanced features and anything else except the cpu optimization settings.
Does onyone know why this happends? Thanks in advance for any replies.

Have you tried the most recent builds of XviD? Does it still crash on yours with Koepi's latest build?

There's a sticky at the top of the forum saying what to post "When Posting Bugs"! So please post relevant info such as the build your using.

XviD doesn't save debug settings, because there "debug" settings and not seen as worth saving.

Try Koepi's latest build (or mine) and the crashing should be gone.

Thanks Nic, you were right, i installed latest Koepi's buld 05.04.2003 and all sse2 problems are gone now! No need to play with debug settings.Everything works fine
