I just got done going over this tutorial a couple of times. It makes reference to using DVD2AVI and making a .d2v file. Fine.

But in the page on making that .d2v file, (DVD2AVI), the author talks about previewing with F5 and taking note of the frame type.

Well, my Frame Rate is 29.970 and there he says if it does'nt say film you'll have to perform IVTC and that this will be explained later on. Great!!! Because I want to learn about performing IVTC and have been looking around for a good guide on how to do that. Afterall, when ripping a Laserdisc for dvd an IVTC will reduce your file size by 20%.

But, as far as I can tell neither the DVD2AVI page or the TMPG re-encoding page gets around to addressing this issue. Is it located elsewhere?

Thanks.
