xvid movie freezes at certain frames, how do i fix???

I have a xvid movie that freezes at certain frames is there a tool which can fix this problem?? i no there is a tool for divx movies called divfix or AVIdefreeze but what about xvid.

I have tried playing it in virtualdub and when it gets to a certain frame in a movie i recieve a error warning.


error decompressing video frame 4767

an unkown error occured (may be corrupt data)
(error code -100)

I want to be able to play this movie on my kiss dp-450 dvd player but it just keeps freezing, i have tried to convert the xvid movie to divx, thinking that i could then use the AVIdefreeze after that, but as it gets to the frame to convert to divx i recive the warnig again.

any ideas on wot i can do ?????

I get all my movies from kazaa
