Well...
first of all sorry for the stupid subjet but I've got a very poor english and I don't know how to make a little summary in one line :(
My problem is how to "relink" a menu button (the MOVIE PLAY one) to a set of vobs.
With this kind of structure I've got some probs:
25/03/2003 18.02 20.480 VIDEO_TS.BUP
25/03/2003 18.02 20.480 VIDEO_TS.IFO
25/03/2003 18.02 581.632 VIDEO_TS.VOB
25/03/2003 18.02 14.336 VTS_01_0.BUP
25/03/2003 18.02 14.336 VTS_01_0.IFO
25/03/2003 18.02 18.438.144 VTS_01_1.VOB
25/03/2003 18.02 90.112 VTS_02_0.BUP
25/03/2003 18.02 90.112 VTS_02_0.IFO
25/03/2003 18.02 2.502.656 VTS_02_0.VOB
25/03/2003 18.04 1.073.631.232 VTS_02_1.VOB
25/03/2003 18.11 594.636.800 VTS_02_3.VOB
25/03/2003 18.11 65.536 VTS_03_0.BUP
25/03/2003 18.11 65.536 VTS_03_0.IFO
25/03/2003 18.12 1.073.704.960 VTS_03_1.VOB
25/03/2003 18.14 1.073.436.672 VTS_03_2.VOB
25/03/2003 18.06 1.073.653.760 VTS_03_3.VOB
25/03/2003 18.08 1.073.371.136 VTS_03_4.VOB
25/03/2003 18.10 1.073.723.392 VTS_03_5.VOB
25/03/2003 18.15 374.386.688 VTS_03_6.VOB
25/03/2003 18.15 59.392 VTS_04_0.BUP
25/03/2003 18.15 59.392 VTS_04_0.IFO
25/03/2003 18.15 18.401.280 VTS_04_1.VOB
When I strip the first part of the dvd the dvd still wants a "title 1" to start but here, as shown, the movie is in the VTS_03.
Using IC7 to encode/strip and playing with video_ts.ifo with a structure with movie at the beginning of it, I can easily backup a dvd with menu and no extra.
But when I try to do the same thing with a structure like this, the result is something like that (can't remember well the sizes of the files...):
25/03/2003 18.02 14.336 VTS_01_0.BUP
25/03/2003 18.02 14.336 VTS_01_0.IFO
25/03/2003 18.02 14.336 VTS_01_1.VOB
25/03/2003 18.02 90.112 VTS_02_0.BUP
25/03/2003 18.02 90.112 VTS_02_0.IFO
25/03/2003 18.04 14.336 VTS_02_1.VOB
25/03/2003 18.11 65.536 VTS_03_0.BUP
25/03/2003 18.11 65.536 VTS_03_0.IFO
25/03/2003 18.12 1.073.704.960 VTS_03_1.VOB
25/03/2003 18.14 1.073.436.672 VTS_03_2.VOB
25/03/2003 18.06 1.073.653.760 VTS_03_3.VOB
25/03/2003 18.08 1.073.371.136 VTS_03_4.VOB
25/03/2003 18.15 374.386.688 VTS_03_5.VOB
Obiously the dvd doesn't want to start, even if I try from my pc with a software dvd player.
I've tried to rename the new movie from VTS_03_1.VOB to VTS_01_1.VOB deleting all the VTS_01_x.xxx and VTS_02_x.xxx.
The dvd, this time, starts :D BUT the menu button used to start the movie is still "searching" for VTS_03, even if the VTS_03 has been renamed into VTS_01. Results: the PLAY button relinks to the menu itself and doesn't start the movie.
So, I need to know where I can tell to the menu that VTS_03 doesn't exist anymore and it has benn renamed in VTS_01.
Can any good soul help a desperate guy? :scared:
Thx in advance!!! :)
