View Full Version : dvd2one 111 crashes at about 95%

Trying to copy Christy Moore Uncovered (Sony) using dvd2one 111, uses multiple pgcs in one vts and a single pcm track throughout. Menus are included in the vts vobset.

I rip the files from the disc using dvd decrypter 3.1.4.0 and everything goes fine. I then try to do a full disc copy in dvd2one and all is ak until it reaches about 98% then dvd2one crashes with the old XP "this program has encountered a problem..." error.

Can anyone advise me on what the problem may be and how I might possibly fix it?

dvd95copy copies the disc ok, but the menus don't work properly.

Why not Ifoedit movie only, corect VTS and compress with DVD95copy. Works fine on those big ones.

I am having the same problem, but with different movies.

I did 50 plus dvd's with dvd2one with no problems but the last 2 dvd crashed on me.

I am suspecting this is cause by a bad sector on my hard disk.
Doing a low level format ATM. I will post results in a few moments...

This was also happening to me a short while back after downloading version 1.1.1 ...until I found out that there were 2 versions of DVD2One version 1.1.1 (I know, it's is very confusing but true... there are 2 versions out with the same version number!)
After I downloaded the newer version of the 2, I no longer experienced crashing during the later portion of the transcoding process. However I began having sizing problems which I never had under DVD2One version 1.02 so I've since switched back to the 1.02 version.

Do you mean click the "Get VTS Sectors" and let it correct the ifo's as required?

My problems where cause by bad sectors has I suspected.

Everything working fine again now! :)

What exactly do you mean? How is everything working fine again now? How did you correct "bad sectors"?

My disc is ripping ok, just not working with dvd2one 111.
