I dont want to start a which is better thread as that involves lots of things like ease of use and time taken and other things which are wholly subjective. Although being buggy would be nice to find out too esp for episode dvds.

Picture quality too is subjective and depends on tv, dvd player but I am hoping peeps will agree on which out of :

DVD95COPY -
DVD2ONE -
INSTANT COPY 7 -

yields best picture quality as I am not bothered about time, ease of use etc. I cant buy all and as I am after the best poss picture then I will go for that program.

Personally I tried trials of dvd2one and dvd95copy on same dvd and could not notice a difference on picture quality. I do have good eyes btw.;) So feedback would be brilliant, thanks peeps.:D

@Googlebear, note the keyword

Package :D

@N3m1515, there are a few threads floating about comparing the 3, cos they all have fields in which they shine, so it's a matter of personal requirements

u mention you have tried DVD2One & DVD95Copy, but there is also a 2 week trial of IC available so I think it's best you make your own mind up :)

p.s. see sig

OK thanks, I didnt want to get into a debate on all the merits of the packages. I was hoping most people agreed on which produced the best picture quality. Esp those with very large TVs. Mines a 32 inch w/scren and differences are none or negligible IMO. Hoping those with larger tvs have easier time spotting the differences.

I did get IC trial but I having probs with it. Is it simply select source, then destination and thats it, besides the settings from HiddenSettings app? It starts reading (and writing I think) but says it will take 4 hours. So I cancelled it lol.

DVD95Copy is probably the better for you at the moment as it compresses the extras so efficiently that it allows more video space for the main movie and on some occasions actually produces better movie title quality than IC used on the same DVD because of this. It has more features than DVD2One and has moved on a long way in a short amount of time due to Digimedics hard work

the difference isn't noticable on most occasions anway due to to IC being unpredictable and wasting space here there and everywhere, unless you are a master at controlling it like me and then use the two together in perfect harmony :D

Have a look at the comparison screenshots and comments from this thread http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=49044

The rule against asking what's best is to prevent flame wars, as opinions can vary and be defended strongly. With commercial software it is particularly important for us to remain neutral, neither endorsing or condemning products, unless there are clear winners or losers.

time for a serious answer :D

if you're a "purist".. go the CCE-route

but if you want a user-friendly, simple to use, best.. type of package?

you can't beat Instant Copy
SPECIALLY if you only care about the movie and the xtras can go to hell.. IC's quality can rival 5 pass CCE dude

go IC
