Can I change 23.97 to 29.97 in CCE and not go out of sync

HI im tryin to change the frame rate in a avi thats 23.97 to 29.97 using CCE 2.66 but when I set it to 29.97 the audio and video go out of synce. Do I have to do some kind of pull down or something on the video?

let CCE encode it as 23.976fps, then use pulldown afterwards.

Can you please tell me how to do it afterwords? Do i use CCE? Tmpeg or something else to do Pull down? Do I use my authoring program? I use Ulead dvd movie factory. Thanks for your help.

Pulldown is a separate program, you can find it in the download section on doom9's site. The easiest way to use it is to just take your mpv video stream that CCE exports and drag and drop it on the pulldown.exe executable. After its finished check on c:\ and the new video stream will have the pulldown flags enabled. Or you can get the gui for it, again it should be in doom9's download section.

The pulldown flags tell your dvd player to do a real time telecine to 29.97fps as the movie plays. This is much more efficient than actually encoding at 29.97fps.
