Hi All,
I've read a few threads about IC doing weirdo (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=47981&highlight=panic+room) stuff with file sizes, and for the first time last night I experienced one myself. I've been trying to convert Panic Room (Region 4 PAL version) using IC v.091 and it seems no mater what settings I have it on it always comes out at about 4GB.
Last night I did a test. I set everything to 100% and set IC to go, and as I'd expect the resulting filesize was about 5,700MB, the same as the source. On the second run I set every thing to 100% except for the main movie which I reduced one notch to about 99.57% from memory. This time the resulting filesize had been reduced by about 1,700MB to 4,040MB. Obviously a reduction of less than .5% on the main movie isn't going to do this, and I was just wondering if anyone had any theories as to why this happens?
