i been trying to obtain 80s-90s music vids VH1 no place to D/L i can find on the net..

i have a spare Dell p3 1g system & my home is fully networked, what would be the best way to capture VH1 videos? my vid card is a ti4200 w/svid & my TV has svid as well as my DVD player (standalone) my puter is about 80ft from the TV, hence the use of the extra dell close to the TV? i dont mind buying a capture card/cabling but im a n00b when it comes to the capture & software that is best..once on HD i can deal with the rest, vcd/svcd files are my prefered..
10x

Any suggestions greatly appreciated

Argh!

'My puter'... I needed whole 2 minutes to get what it means :D

Try to answer in same style:

Read des for inning. Too long ble isn't good.
Pture with MJPEG codec and YUV rmat. Audio uncmp PCM.
After it ecomprs to desired rmat.

What language barrier? I said that I needed 2 minutes to get what your shortening means, not that I don't understand.

Practical route looks like this:
1: Read guides
2: Use search 'unction (google too)

This is forum, and no place for detailed 'tructions.

Lazy to type, lazy to search :D
