Hi all,
I am looking for an easy to use DVD authoring software. I have seen Easy CD+DVD creator 6 and I liked it very much, but I was looking for something that does not advertise itsself so much. Creator 6 has an intro that says Roxio, and I dont want to go into the trouble of burning it and then stripping it from the intro and stuff...
Any ideas/suggestions ?
Thanks
Troop

Wow! I was not aware that any company would be so ridiculous to involuntarily place their logo at the beginning of your DVD that you're trying to author.
Is it a SE or "lite" edition of the software that came "with" a DVD-RW drive or something?
I have used both DVD Maestro and Scenarist (both are very nice programs) but I think that DVD Maestro is more user friendly and when you feel you're ready you could "graduate yourself" to Scenarist.
Those two are also (in case you didn't notice) the more widely used authoring programs here.

There's also the new DVDlab. Its similar to Maestro but geared towards making the more complex parts of authoring easy for the beginner.
30 day trial available here:

Yeah, DVDlab seems like the obvious choice, although don't forget that Ulead's DVD Workshop is reasonable too, provided you don't need much complexity (the question did ask for an easy program). If you need serious power with ease of use, then Maestro is the first choice, but obviously the license price may be an issue here, to say nothing of product availability!
also bear in mind that the PowerPack version of DVD Workshop includes an AC3 encoder:
