Hey guys, is there an easy way to find out? Restream doesn't tell me if its drop_frame or not. The only way I can do it now is to import it into Maestro....Scenarist can't tell, and i think if I tell its drop frame when it isn't drop frame, it messes up the results. at least I think so, i just tried to author a movie and I got various multiplexing errors.

The movie in question is the replacement killers. i used vobedit to demux the m2v and ac3 files, and the m2v file isn't drop frame.
Its ntsc by the way

The drop-frame timecode flag is in the GOP header. http://mpucoder.kewlhair.com/DVD/mpeghdrs.html
VobEdit will show you this (for the original vob, not a m2v) on any sector marked "[Video Pack] [GOP]". Scroll down to the GOP header, and the flag is broken out for you, 1 = true.

Although you shouldn't rely on this, as rules are always broken by someone, but all NTSC should be drop-frame timecode.
