I am having difficulty importing chapters inot maestro. When i attempt to import the chapter list i receive a 'parsing error'. I have searched and could not find this problem exactly answered. I have seen where i need to add an hour to the chapter points, but either thast is not working or maybe im doing this in the wrong place. Also, when i look at asset properties in maestro it says the asset starts at 00:00:00:00. If this is in fact teh problem, can someone explain this in some detail so i can figure out what im doing wrong. My .chp files were created by chapter Xtractor and i attempting to author a backup for my soprano season 3 set. I used CCE to encode the episodes. Any help is appreciated.

Anybody? I finally completed my first full dvd backup using Road to Perdition, but had to enter the chapters manually. If anyone can lead me to some help, id be appreciative.

the actual chapter file is probably not layed out correctly as maestro wants it.

For every chapter there must be an I-frame in the video stream. A task that CCE should had undertaken. Did u check that each chapter's timecode is in the ECL?
If yes I would agree with auenf, that there is somthing wrong with CHP file.

So to make sure I have the steps correct, you add teh I frames during the cce recode by importing the chapter list. As for a problem with the chp file, other than adding the ; to account for the drop, what else can i change. In maestro, the assest properties of the m2v show that it starts at 00:00:00:00 so im thinking i dont have to add an hour as has been discussed elsewhere. Any other changes needed/possible?

Other than that u must add to the CCE the chapters in CCE format and not Maestro's, a task that ifoupdate is perfect at, I believe that u may try as is and discuss any possible problems that might arise.
