Hi All.

Since i cant solve my problem with dvd maestro, is there any prog
(besides maestro and scenerist (too complicated)) that when compiling the dvd creates 1 vob for each mpeg?

Thanks All...

How big is your Mpeg file? I think all authoring programs split into additional VOBs when it hits the 1gb mark. At least it's been my experience.

Why do you want to create one vob per mpeg? The vob file is not important to a DVD, it is an arbitrary unit of storage. On the DVD itself all the vob files of one titleset (VTS) are put together as one large storage area. Seperate vob files exist only on computers, and only for ease of handling.

DVDMaestro is acting correctly, and all other authoring programs will, or should, act the same way.

But, if the "problem" is more than one video in a vob, use seperate title sets. Or if you want one huge vob file you can use programs to join the seperate files together, just make sure the size doesn't exceed the limit of your file system. There is VobMerge, but you can also use copy /b (DOS Prompt)

Hi All.

I need a prog to create i vob to each file because my mpeg are at diferent birtares and resolution.

I started using workshop and it worked fine until i try to add some vcds and some svcds together in 1 dvd. I dont want any more compressions. Then i changed to maestro. Maestro is excelent, allows me to do what i want but when i record them to DVD, my Standalone frezes everytime i press STOP,MENU or EJECT on the remote control
and until now no one could solve this problem.
