I'm not sure what forum to choose for this question - linux or audio encoding, I'll try here.
Is there a tool under linux like besweet or headac3he being able of performing a Dolby ProLogic II compliant downmix of an AC3-stream ? For me Linux is already a great platform for transcoding movies, the only missing thing would be a good audio conversion tool being capable of that.

cheers

hmmm, didn't get it working. BeSweet commandline doesn't work and DanniDin's BeSweetGui is crashing under wine here.
anyone got it working ?
anyway, a genuine linux solution would be nice. AFAIK a52dec is capable of a DPL-downmix, maybe the devels have an interest for DPL-II as well.

cheers

Did you try downloading transcode and checking out all the options ? I've used it to convert ac-3 to .ogm and .mp3 and it works great for that.
