watched this (by accident...hehehe)
on german analog sat.channel "pro7"
and few times fields got swapped
(TF become BF and vice-versa)
[huh if my capture card wasn't doing the same
i couldn't of spotted this..]
now the question (to usa DTV users who watched
this...):
was the DTV transmission completely
ok on your side of the ocean?
(ie. i would like to know if it's the source or the
DTV->PAL converter problem)
thanks
cheers

It was fine here, except for a few subtle mess-ups in the audio. And in HDTV here it was broadcast by the ABC network in 1280x720p format.
Thus there were not top or bottom fields, just progressive.

We got the ABC feed over in the UK, I watched it on analogue, though a few mins on digital. Quality was fine actually, one of the best NTSC on the FLY conversions I ever did saw! Congrats BBC, but boo for not showing Rocky in the Road to the Oscars cos of the bloody war. I was really looking forward to that all day.
There were no problems at all, I dont even recall any soung glitches. But I hate awards ceremonies sooo much, it's like all of the Bond 1 liners but one every seconds, and worse. Also, how each guest tries to crack a joke, but I did like Colonel Fitz emotional reception of supporting actor.
Support Graham Norton to present next years, now that would be funny, maybe even a little more genuine.
I had no problems till I fell asleep (not of bordem, it was 4 AM!). Last award I remember was some technical one. Missed the decent ones.
Have to see adaption, have to finish the Pianist **TONITE**
