it would be nice if there was a DVB card that could capture DirecTV so we wouldn't have to worry about color calibration and transcoding.

My only wish would be to keep piracy out of this forum; there are better place to discuss this.

My apologies. I posted with the intention of being helpful for people that already had one of the services and wanted to capture the streams. It didn't occur to me that it would be used for piracy. (I'm not a saint, it just didn't occur to me.)
