Hi people! I make DV to CVD conversion. I read on this site and on vcdhelp that if use special type quantization matrix may get better result comparing to standard. I use Avisynth as frameserver and CCE 2.62 as encoder (I get *.mpv and *.mpa files). If I want that information was availible in MPEG-2 programm stream I need muxed in bbmpeg and use same quantization matrix for encoding and muxing (yes or no?). I have standalone Pioneer DV-343 which may play standard SVCD (2524 Video +224 Audio) not higher. For non-standard quantization matrix same restriction or I need decrease total bitrate?
With kind regards yup.

Hi people! Very difficult! Missunderstanding! I try speak simpler. When I use CCE 2.62 and encode in VBR mode. I have only elementary stream video (*.mpv) and audio (*.mpa). I can not automaticaly muxed during encoding in CCE in VBR mode. And I change custum Quantization Matrix not default and not standard. Question? information about parameter custum matrix include to elementary stream *.mpv? Ordinary I muxed in TMPGEnc MPEG Tools. But as I read on forum in bbmpeg You can use matrix during muxing. It is need or may enough simple multiplex in TMPGEnc.
Please reply me.
With kind regards yup.
