Hallo all,
when enabling 'theatre mode' via the properties it's possible to playback DVDs or Xvid files full-screen on the tv independent of the size of the window and resolution on the monitor.
However the resolution used on the tv-out is always 640x480 :( (you can see this by opening the screen properties after starting playback of the movie) although I enabled the 720x576 mode (PAL DVD-Resolution) by editing the registry.
As long as I don't use the overlay, 720x576 works great on the tv-out (i.e.: the registry change worked). Using overlay allways results in 640x480, independant of the player beeing used (tested with PowerDVD, WMP and BSPlayer).
Used Hardware/Software: Radeon 9000 (Catalyst 3.2), WinXP
Thanks in advance for any hints or ideas!
