Need more info. Cut and paste your log file for starters.
Are you converting from a DVD or an AVI?
If you open the extracted audio and converted audio files in Windows Media Player do you get sound?
Give us something to go on dude!

Maybe you are hard of hearing, when you have to shout that much, and thats why you here no sound (just kidding ;))
But to be serious, with this kind of post you cant expect help. You have to follow the forum rules. For example:
-use a better title and donīt use such exclamation marks in it.
-post more info
and donīt write the whole post in full capital letters (donīt know if this is an explicit rule, but its quite irritating anyway).
Make it better next time and you will get help.

Loose the caps. It's considered rude.
Use a better title.
Read the Mandatory thread. There is a reason why it's MANDATORY.

Thanks! Now we're getting somewhere.
Your logfile looks ok for starters.
As for which files have sound.
Extracted audio plays, we have established that much.
Does the file Encoded_Audio_1.mp2 play ok?
If not a BeSweet log would be handy.
Something to try in the meantime is VirtualDub - (doom9 downloads page again) to save the audio from the avi as a wav file, then remux it. This sometimes solves problems.

Encoded_Audio_1.mp2 play ok? yes...thanks for the prompt reply!!
and if i wave it and try to simple mux ..i get i llegal audio stream
Nick
16th March 2003, 21:17
Now that I didn't expect!
So how about bbmpeg_muxed_file_00.mpg? If there's sound in that then I have no answers for you! If not then the muxing has failed but I would have expected an error message from bbmpeg!
If the muxing hasn't worked all I can think of is to try muxing manually with tmpgenc and then author the image files with vcdeasy. You can probably find a guide on vcdhelp.com for how to do this. Look for "DVD to SVCD conversion using tmpgenc"
Normally audio problems in avi2svcd are corrupt source related and BeSweet cuts out at the corrupt part. If this were a file with a corrupt frame very early on, then you'd get a blank Encoded_audio_1.mp2 file and hence no audio on the svcd. This is clearly something different and I'm not sure I can help.

C:\Program Files\DVD2SVCD\Movie\Extracted_audio_1.wav ? yes it s there and it plays.. there is sound
markrb
24th March 2003, 03:08
It could be a frame rate problem since according to the BeSweet log the original is only about 12fps.
I really don't know what to suggest except maybe to modify the original to be a regular frame rate before converting.

A good guide here:
http://nickyguides.digital-digest.com/audio-synch.htm
Follow the PART 1: Fixing Stretched Audio.
Yes, I know your audio is not stretched, but the concept for fixing framerate is the same. Have a look, you'll see what I mean.
