ok so I encode a movie to svcd and im using fitcd to find the bitrate since im adding a few other files to the svcd, so I choose to leave about 10mb space on the cd. I encode the movie using dvd2svcd and with the new birate I put in its all great until the outcome file. Im left with a 800mb file and a 790mb file, now im wondering is there a way to make it so that instead of having 800 and 790 to make it like 795 and 795? :sly:

Hello!

Three things:
1) You donīt need an extern bitrate calculator for this purpose, dvd2svcd really does a good job. Just choose the wanted image size under the bitrate-tab (e.g. type in 790 instead of 800, if you want to leave extraspace of 10 MB onto each image).

2) You can burn 815 MB - images without overburning.

3) It is natural that the last image is smaller, since dvd2svcd calculates the bitrate slightly under the limtit to avoid getting too big images. So the first images are cut at the cutpoint, and the last image consists of the rest.
