incomplete audio after madplay conversion

Hi all,

I walked into this problem before with other movies;
the extracted audio gets converted to wav with madplay and after that it's incomplete. The mpa file which gets extracted from the avi is complete, but after madplay converted it it's shorter.
The movie is 1:53:14 and the wav is only 75 minutes.
Nothing weird in the logfiles and plenty of diskspace.
Other movies convert fine with dvd2svcd, this is the second movie giving me trouble. Anyone else who walked into this problem before? And even better; anyone who knows how to fix it?

Hi,
It is quite possible that the problem is with the avi file itself. You might try to extract the audio with virtual dub and then remux the wav audio back in.

You could also try a search.

Thanks for the reply. Vdub has the same problem. When I rip the audio with it, it only rips 75 minutes too. So it seems like you're right about the AVI file being corrupt. Tough beans I guess. :rolleyes:
