Hello,

I am using version 2.66.01.07 of the CCE. But it´s a little bit complicatet to implement it in DVD2SVCD and I have to make all switches of the CCE by hand. I have to wait until CCE 2.5 writes the *.ecl file. Then I can edit that file and get the information I need (avg etc.)
Unfortunatly I always have to wait until audio processing has finished or stop it and change the projects position. Then recover...

So for me and some of my friends who also use this method to implement higher versions of the CCE it would be a nice feature if we could tell DVD2SVCD what to do first. The audio or the video processing. I think as DVD2SVCD still does not use vbr for audio maybe this feature could be implemented in the future.

Please use the link in the sticky for all feature requests.

CCE 2.66 is not supported as of this release. Rumours say it might be in the next release.

No change of the the programs being executed is possible, it will mean MAJOR changes in dvd2svcd and that is something I'm not prepared to do.

Oh, and VBR audio will never be supported either because if I use VBR audio there's no easy way to find the exact length of the audio and therefore you _will_ get async problems.

Hello,

thanx for your answers.

Well I see, my ideas would cause much trouble. So I think we can drop that.

Why I mentioned vbr.
Just because some rumours say it might be possible to create svcd´s with vbr audio with besweet. But it´s not in Philips specifications yet. Rumours also say the Philips thinks about implementing vbr audio in their specifications in the future.
