I don't know if this has been posted, but I think it could be potentially useful and I didn't notice it anywhere else on the web.
Here I ripped the .srt subtitle file from an ogm video using graphedit. Before you begin of course you must have everything necessary to play an ogm video (ogg directshow filters and vobsub I believe). To begin insert the directshow filter "File Source(Async.)" and browse to your ogm video. Next link that filter to the "Ogg Splitter" filter. (Note: when inserted and linked this filter should have a subtitle track which reads "subtitle 3" or some similar number. Not a longer string of numbers. If this occurs you will need to right click into filter properties on it and select the option to always enable all streams and then delete and reinsert the splitter. It should then appear loaded correctly). Next link that subtile output from the splitter filter to the input of the filter "Subtitle Dest". If you find you do not have this filter try installing the subtitle package from http://tobias.everwicked.com/ This is also where you can find the other ogg directshow filters. Finally link Subtitle Dest with the "filewriter" filter and name the output to "whatever".srt, hit play, and let it run until it stops on its own.
Ok I tried to write this so it would be understandable to people without much experience in graphedit. This is my first post/ "how to" as well here. Let me know how I did. This is actually the first thing I've figured out how to do with graphedit on my own so I'm all proud of myself. Try not to kill my inner child to much or anything ;)
