I bought a DVD (Eyes Wide Shut, region 2)
When I put it in my PC-DVD player and start PowerDVD as usual, I get a massage saying that the DVD can't be displayed because my TV-out is enabled which is not true. When I try to play it in WinDVD, I get no message but I hear the sound (the music of the WARNER intro) but no imge and in Zoomplayer I get : "Macrovision Failure".

It's definitely not a region problem nor a DVD reader problem because I can read all other DVDs I have.
It's not a problem with the disc because i tried it on another computer and it works.

Please help me I really want to see the movie.

Thanx

Something is up with your TV-out settings. Software DVD players don't allow playback on both the monitor and the TV at the same time; in fact in my experience, you must start playing the DVD with the monitor, and then switch to the TV. Otherwise, you will get black video on both your monitor and your TV; sound is unaffected. Maybe try using ZoomPlayer or Windows Media Player to see if it will play. It just sounds like a setting is tweaked the wrong way somewhere.

Ok but where can I change those TVout settings ?

And why do other DVDs work OK ? And why does this one works OK on other PCs ?

I just want to remind to eventual helpers that I do not use a TVout and that is the problem that the PC detects me using it while I'm not.

Thanx
