Does including a logo before a movie begins and / or after the movie ends to change cd or something, does that have any effect on audio video synch?

I haven't found too many threads relating to this problem. One suggestion I read was to lower the recording speed. I use the same media and same recording speeds on all movies. Could this be an error during the general process of converting?
