Adobe Premiere 6.5 doesn't accept vob files??? [Archive]

I keep on getting a error saying that it won't accept the file because its not compatible. What's wrong?

it doesn't support VOBs. Frameserve it using AviSynth, or extract out the .m2v stream, but I'm not even sure if Premiere supports that.

prem 6.5 does support mpeg-2 program streams, but only if it has m2a audio in it.
