In a lot of DVDs, there are 2 versions of widescreen & normal tv screen formats. So, the size of disc is more than 4.4GB, even if size of the movie itself is less than that.

The question is how to remove one version? If we can, we can burn it in a single dvdr disc without nearly any loss. We don't have to re-encode the data.

Someone says that copying all the contents without one version, with dvd decrypter, and simple burning strategy works. In my case, it does not work. Recordnow max refuse to burn the copied data.

I think that I have to change ifo files. But I don't know how to. This situation is usual but I couldn't find many writings about it.

DVD Decrypter>IFO Mode>Stream Processing>Demux

Then rebuild/author with ifoedit and burn.

About a 30 minute job.
