Hi people,

Just a little question ..I had a bin/cue file for an SVCD film ...which i extracted the contents from (teh folders within the bin/cue) using Isobuster....now i watched it ..and by mistake threw the bin.cue files away.....what i am looking for is a software which i can use to add these folders in which then will make them a bin/cue file again. The reason is that i have an iomega burner USB burner....and this burner with Nero/Easy CD and all other softwares simply does not want to burn these folders on an 800mb CD-R...it simply says that there is not enough room ...where as there is.......strange is that i have a feeling that the softwares that i have tried are the problem ..so if i can get these folders i have extracted back into a bin/cue file i was thinking about using Fireburner...since this one never compalains about any file size and stuff......any help would be appreciated....

Greetzzz..

Dunno,

a possibility would by to use VCDEasy (you find it here on doom9) to generate a new bin/cue. There is also a guide, how to use that program to properly master an SVCD. Take a look into the SVCD guides section.

CDRwin, Nero, and Blindwrite can also produce bin/cue files from CD images.

Nero always complain with that kind of message unless you enable the overburn option in its preference. In any case, even though you managed to burn into 80min CD-R with 800MB, I'm not sure whether the internal structure of CD would be recognised as an SVCD. Try to read some guide how to make cue/bin at here (http://www.vcdimager.org/guides/). It belongs to VCDImager that is a prototype of all those modified GUI (e.g. VCDEasy, TSCV).

Hope it'd help :)

@Justinus:

Sorry, that was what I meant. Just repacking isn't O.K., as all the chapters and other stuff of an SVCD are missing then. VCDEasy is a GUI for VCDImager that makes it easier, that's all that I wanted to say. I think you need the full SVCD to create a complete bin/cue again. On the other hand then you just can copy the whole SVCD (seems to be more difficult than I thought).

"Just repacking isn't O.K., as all the chapters and other stuff of an SVCD are missing then. "

I understand what you are saying........however i thought that the chapters are in one of the folders that i have unpacked........as long as you have unpacked the bin/cue with isobuster which unpacks all the folders together.......the chapters also stay the same dont they........then you would have to simply repack them as an iso file and then convert them to a bin/cue...i found a program that will do this ....www.winiso.com it simply repacks the folders that you choose into a iso file ..which you then can convert to a bin /cue ..which then can be burned by fireburner ..so i am guessing that the chapters will simply be burned correctly.....

Give it a try!

Before burning I suggest that you mount your new bin/cue as a virtual CD in Daemon tools and try to playback with WinDVD or PowerDVD, though, just to be sure that the chapters and other stuff are there.
