I want to know what is the maximum image file that can be recorded on a 700 MB, 80 minute cdr. I am able record over 800 MB file. I understand that the image file, (CUE/BIN) format is in RAW format.

Actual maximum capacity, reached by "overburn" techniques, will vary by media manufacturer. They may also vary from the same manufacturer, lot to lot, if any changes are introduced into the manufacturing process.

Nero includes an application called "CD Speed Test" which includes an "Overburn test." This will non-destructively test media and provide actual physical capacity. I run this test every time I open a new package of media, and put the results into the overburn settings in Nero.
