I downloaded the movie "hero" and it is dubbed in Chinese. It came along with a srt file. I wanted to know if it was possible to play the srt with the movie together with players like windows media, realone player, or DivX Alpha Player. :rolleyes:

It is good possible that AzNxBOix629 owns that DVD, but dose not have the skill to backup/encode it to avi with switchable subs in best quality, so he/she want to know which format and which possibility to get best playback. In this case he downloaded the avi and sub to test and understand.

Ya quoted often "the forum rules", but I think rule "everyone is not guilty before it was proved" should be the K.O. rule for all others. If someone dose not declare he owns a pirated copy, we should all think he has a licence of the original.

@AzNxBOix629
if you installed "vobsub", the subs will be shown in all (Directshow) media players(sub file name must be same as avi). In WMP 6.4 you can select one of the subs to be displayed.
