Gentle way to clean cd-r?

Some f*#%$... idiot:devil: spilled coffee over my cd-r.
(He is sitting in front of the screen right now :o )
What is the best way, it must be gentle,nice word, to clean them ?

The coffee was Jacobs-Kröhnung (Translation: Jacobs Coronation :D)with Milk 3.5 % fat, to give all the relevant details.

I would appreciate any serious advice.

Many a defective cd-r was brought back to life with an old toothbrush and a dab of toothpaste. The cdr is scratched to bits but is quite readable. Only as a last resort!
