ok, here is my problemo. I ripped an anime that is 4 eps long with DVD Decrypter. I ripped out all the extras, and i'm left with just the bare eps, nothing else. The problem is the files come out to be about 3 megs larger then the max a dvd will allow, so is there any way to overburn a dvd like u can with cdr? oh and please dont respond with re-encode the video.

u can try re-ripping one of the eps and strip out one of the audio streams using dvd-decrypter if u havent done so already.

Or use vob split to trim one of the vob files

If you are re-authoring you can ( at least with maestro) trim off a couple of seconds from the closing credits. With dvd you cannot overburn.

i've already ripped all that i could out. Both intros and credits r gone, and i've only keept 1 2ch eng audio strem. I guess i'm stuck if u cant overburn. w/o re-encoding of course...

Like Gooki said, trim one of the VOB's with VOBSplit. If it has any credits at all, it shouldn't be a problem to take off 4 MB.

You should investigate into re encoding...
Quite simple to reencode only the main movie with CCE and quality is perfect. You will be able to keep the AC3 6Channel audio that way.
