Alright -- lets see if anyone can answer this question concerning Instant Copy 7 version 80 & 91 --- In the beginning - I got a hold of the demo version of this program - I found out later that I really had the "SCENE" version of 7.0.0.80 -- it work well enough for me to end up buying the retail version. Anyways I loaded the "scene" version on both my laptop and my home computer. When I got my retail in the mail - I un-installed the "scene'" version on my home computer and installed the retail -- I did not need to do any reg trick or anything -- the preview worked -- the de-select worked -- no problems --- I decided to do the same with my laptop. When I installed the retail (after un-installing the "scene" version -- I open the program to check things out --- NO PREVIEW --- NO DE-SELECT --- whats up with this --- I check the version number and guess what ------- the retail version 7.0.0.91 installed the 7.0.0.80 version instead.I un-installed and re-installed now 5 times. I cleaned out the registry of any hint of Instant Copy (VOB files) -- did a search for Instant Copy and deleted everything related. How could a program switch what version it installs. I wonder if this anything to do with the reg hack -- but I swear I used that hack on both computers. Why does 7.0.0.91 install on my home computer and 7.0.0.80 installs on my laptop????????????????
