Sill pictures and chapters

Hi!
I'm having a problem with inserting and sort still pictures and chapters. When i'm making a svcd, using VCDEasy, i usually add two still pictures, one before and one after the movie, and insert chapters in the movie. The VCDEasy tells me that the svcd was created sucessufelly, and after i burn the image file into a cd using Nero. The problem that i have is that, when i'm going to play the svcd on my standalone or on my computer dvd, the svcd plays only the still images and stops. I try to play the movie manually and i find that there is no chapters inserted.
What is that i'm doing wrong?

P.S: i'm using all the lastest versions, of the programs. I use the DVD2SVCD to make the mpeg, the VCDEasy to create the image file of the SVCD and Nero to burn it on to a cd.

It can be also a problem of the dvd player. Have you played it with PowerDVD 4.0 XP in computer? Witch brand/model is your dvd player?

It sounds more like your DVD player doesn't support SVCD. Try this.

Create with DVD2SVCD a small chapter (so you don't have to wait to long), with a before & after picture (you can choose this to whatever you want), and let DVD2SVCD create a cue/bin. Burn this cue/bin to a CDRW (so you don't have to waste a CDR).

Play it, and if you still have the same problem (i.e. DVD only show the pictures), try it with some other DVD Standalone (from a friend perhaps?) that is known to play SVCD, and see what's going on.

BTW, what brand is your DVD Standalone?

Try first with dvd player of friends or software player. His player may not be able to play CD-RW.
