Has anyone else copied Mallrats? I mean it copies fine, The weird thing is that with mallrats you cannot go by the disc size bar, (not sure if u understand this :P im not making sense i spose). In mallrats, there are little PIP like screens with jay n silent bob in the main movie vobs every few frames or so near the ending of the movie, you cannot de-select these with IC because IC does see that they are there when giving you the option of how much compression / removeing Extra's etc because they are literly intergrated directly into the Main movie's vobs. The first copy i made i selected

no Extra's,
no subs,
Main menu 50.03
movie 95.3
dolby 5.1

the movie was over @ 4.34g when burnt it was 3.9g on the cd. I sat trying to figure out wtf was going on, i ripped again, same specs, but this time noticed the blips of jay n silent bob popping up every few seconds starting about 1/2 way through the movie (Note in the 3.8g movie when played these scenes do not show up). So i canceled. and put

menu 100
Main movie 100
dolby 5.1
no extra's
no subs.

wich put the disc @ 4.55g converted (took like 30 mins, thats the great thing about not lowering the quality of anything)then burnt (using IC) the final CD came out to be 4.3g.. So i am just wondering if anyone else has ran into this, from what i seen. IC was stripping the sequences of J & SB from the main vob, even though it did not see it in the Edit menu's. wich leads me to beleive that even if I had left the commentary during the movie Extra in the movie that IC would have still stripped it. (and NO there was no other Selections refering to set 4, just the single main movie set).
Has anyone else come accross anything weird like this with IC?
If so maybe start a list of Movies that Do this so that there isnt any wasted CD's getting MAX quality..
Hopefully atleast a few of you can understand what i have typed. I am just very tired so im not totaly here @ the Moment.

I've put Mallrats to DVD-R, but the full rip was well within the capcity of a single DVD5 disk. All I did was a full rip with smartripper 2.41, and used Nero 5.5.10 to create the DVD. Works OK on PS@ and Pioneer 355.

Its already been well established that unselecting components of the movie using the unsupported registry hack will cause problems. Please check out the other threads for more evidence of this.
