Hi out there.
I need a little help here.Well i'm using ifo edit and cce to re enccode keeping just the main movie. Now my questions are:
1.When i have the folder and the movie ready to beb burned before i continue with burning i use again ifoedit and load the vts.ifo file so to press tyhe button get vts sectors. After the corrections of the program what do i do? a)just close the program without press save button b)or do i have to save with the same file name (vts.01.ifo)as the main movie?
2.Now i want to go one step further and keep the start menu. What changes do i have to make to the above programs keeping the menu and the main program (no other extras)
thank you in advance!

Be careful
CCE and ifoedit do not work together
You can not use an m2v encoded movie from CCE and remux it with ifoedit
Audio will be out of sync
If you intend to use CCE then you need to reauthor with scenarist or another DVD authoring tool and use IFOUpdate

Sorry i forgot. As for the other programs like scenarist or dvd maestro you mentioned these are the programs that i can't work with.I Tried many movies NTSC (i don;t know if that is the reason to failure) and though all it seemed to be ok after the final steps (vob and vts files ready to be burned) when i was trying to play the movie before i burn it nothing was happening....just black screen on power dvd
ps the guide i followed was the one used in this site including the programs cce dvd maestro.

Maybe you could describe your method and parameters for using CCE and Ifoedit and some experts could answer.
I am pretty sure there are heaps of people out there who would be interested in the method CCE/IFOEdit since it has been a hot topic for a long time

Well i am back with the ifo and cce method. The steps i followed are the above:
1.Using dvd decrypter in ifo mode just the main movie and with the setting add cce chapter information.
2.Dvd2avi to make my d2v file.
3.vfapi to convert it to something cce could see
4.vobedit to extract all subtitles form the vob's of the main movie
5.Using Rob's CCE w CCE Guesser Guide but before encoding i save the changes in ecl close the d2v file i have loaded earlier and open the ecl file after i open it (with notepad and paste all the chapter information file i have copied from the file dvd decrypter made for me)
6.after encodingusing ifoedit and open the first ifo of the main movie and go to file and save shell times
7.close ifo edit open it again and press author new dvd(there you can put the m2v file which cce has made , audio file with the delay , subtitles that vobedit has made it;s a file like *.sup , and the chapter information shell times.txt you have made by yourself earlier.Final choose a path for the new muxed files and thats it.
8.After ifo edit finish you will have all the filed needed to burn the dvd.But before that open the old movie ifo (not ts but that of the main movie) and check VTS_PGCITI and then VTS_PGC_1 and select subtitle color and copy colors from this pgc. After that open the old moan movie ifo and select again VTS_PGCITI and then VTS_PGC_1 and subtitle color checking this time paste colors.Save the file and say yes to the question of ifo edit.
9.Burn the files using nero in video dvd mode (if you want you can get vts sectors with ifo edit or not.It works both ways but you never know..)
That's all folk's
