hi,
Just to copy from the main thread :
1/ I do not use ISO image but do directly from the DVD9. (Faster, less disk space needed)
I use the latest version and let it put all non used asset in /VIDEO_TS folder. Great. Except it's only a copy, so menus and bonus not re-encoded are still encrypted...
And, now thereis no way to decrypt these copied files.

Can you use DVDdecrypter to copy unused files to Harddisk ?
It changed nothing if working from an ISO image with decrypted files, and solve the problem if working directly from the DVD.

Well, you did not understand my bad english, shame on you.

I mean, I do everything from the original DVD I own, in my DVD-ROM.
Not from a ISO or NRG image, Daemons tools is really a great thing, but to slow for that.
If I do that from files ripped to HD, it's OK, everything decrypted.
But, If doing that from the original DVD (and everybody has the original one isn'it ? ), unused VTS and VTS*_0.vob are just copied instead of decrypted. Why not just use DVDdecrypter for that, as you use it for other files ?

Or missing something... which happend to me on a regular basis...

Nope, DVDDEC can't do this yet via CLI, sorry. You need to create an .iso with DVD Decrypter and mount it with Daemon-tools. There's no other way at this time. If you refuse to use the better method, you're not going to be able to use newer features, including the video_ts creation, and sometimes .sst creation. I believe file copy will be possible in a new version of DVDDEC but it's not yet.

OK, no problem the tool is great and I can do manually that last part.
But, just to understand...

DVDDEC can do file decrypt from a DVD to HD
DVDDEC can't do file decrypt from HD to HD

In your tool, if you use an ISO image, DVDDEC decrypt all file and put them into the image. So, no problem to just copy from there to your working dir.

If you skip the iso image file and do everything from the DVD directly (not from files ripped to your HD) everything is OK , except you have unused file just copied instead of decrypted/copied.

But that's OK, I will do everything from an iso image, or manually decrypt missing files with DVDdec avec DIF4U process.

DVDDEC can NOT do file decrypt from DVD to HDD at this point using CLI. The only thing it can do is copy the main movie vobs to your hdd. And that's the exact opposite of what we need! The author and I have spoken about this, and the functionality will be in the next version of DVDDEC, however, it is not now.
