Hi,

Great program (appart from not copying the Holy Grail however i have noticed the thread that lists the films that Instant Copy Crashes with).

Anyhow, my question is; is there any way of setting the ISO to have a DVD label? When i use PDI2ISO then write the disk in Nero using the ISO, i don't get any options of creating a label for it.

Cheers

You can use Daemon tools to mount the iso, then Open Nero, Choose data DVD, create an Empty AUDIO_TS somewere on your HD, then put AUDIO_TS folder from your HD and the VIDEO_TS from the mounted image on your new DVD, and...THAT's IT:D :D :D

Thanks for the info but i think you got me mixed up with someone asking about putting the AUDIO_TS in the image. I could apply what you have said for my question though.

I think i'll just extract the files out of the PDI into a folder then creat the AUDIO_TS & a volume name that way.

Thanks

I believe LIGHTING UK! has said that feature will be in the next version of DVD Decrypter, as well as direct support of PDI files.

Kewl, cannot wait for it :)

Until then i will extract the files to my hard drive, create the AUDIO_TS folder because i beleive that some players don't like it if that folder doesn't exist. Then while creating the DVD i can give it a label.

Thanks for the info.

Earlier I posted this same question and didn't get any solutions. In the mean time I have found one that works for me!

I convert all pdi files to an iso file and the use the program Ultra-Iso to change the label of the iso. There are more programs that can do this, but this one worked the easiest for me. Takes about 5 seconds and works like a charm :D

You can download it here: http://www.ezbsystems.com/index.html

please do a search for 'ultraiso' in this forum....you'll see why it's not recommended to use.

I agree UltraIso is not the program to use when converting pdi files to an ISO file, I use PDI2ISO for that, no problems this way. However UltraIso can be used after that to edit the label of the ISO file after the conversion. I've used this method many times now, and no problems whatsoever.

I've decided to just rip out the files then create the DVD. This way i can put the AUDIO_TS back into the DVD. I know, from reading this forum, that its only a small number of players that don't like it when the AUDIO_TS is not included but i think its best to keep things standard.

1. Create an iso with pdi2iso

2. Mount the iso with DAEMON tools (or whatever). Now on your explorer you see the VIDEO_TS in daemon virtual disk lets say E:

3. Create an empty folder named AUDIO_TS on your hard disk lets say C:\AUDIO_TS

4. Open your burning program, choose data DVD

5. Put E:\VIDEO_TS folder in your project

6. Put C:\AUDIO_TS folder in your project

7. Label the project

8. BURN

That's all folks.

Hope you understood now:D :D :D

Hi,

If you are going to the trouble of creating the ISO, why not just extract the files to your hard drive ? Then you don't need to mount the ISO image :)

Because the question was about iso:D
And second i prefer pdi2iso than pdiextract.
It's a matter of taste
