I just tried to do a custom DVD backup ("The Mummy")with Instant Copy. I stripped all the extra contents so that only the main movie and the Italian/English audio tracks + subtitles are left in the backup copy. Everything worked out fine and Instant copy successfully created its PDI DVD image, which I extracted to a folder using pdiextract. After that, I used Menuedit to disable the extras and additional languages buttons on the DVD menu (since they're no longer available on my backup DVD) and, again, this worked beautifully.
The only problem now is that when I go and check out the backup DVD it starts playing the movie using English as the default language whereas the original DVD used Italian. This is particularly annoying as this disc doesn't load the title menu when inserted in a DVD player, it just starts the movie and then you have to press the "menu" button on the remote to access the languages menu selection.
Does anybody know how should I edit the IFO files with IFOedit in order to set the default language back to Italian, like it used to be in the original DVD? I already tried to compare the edited IFOs to the original ones, to no avail...
Thanks in advance for your help.
