Because I can't use ffdshow filter and divxg400 filter simultaneously (ac3 sound becomes VERY stuttering, I have no idea why) is there a way to view subtitles on leftover space like in DivxG400? Like: adding black border to bottom of movie and viewing subtitles there?

What type of subtitles is it? Because i don't know how extensive FFShow's Subtitle support goes.. I know you can install vobsub from http://vobsub.edensrising.com and choose the options Extend to 16:9 and it will then place the subs into the Black Borders..

I think you meant 'Extend to 4:3', except of course, you want to view a 4:3 movie on a 16:9 screen with the subs left or right of the movie ;).

yes there is a method.Resize with ffdshow to a bigger resolution.Check keep aspect ratio, process whole image and set resizing method to none(less cpu).In subtitles check process whole image

That was exactly what I was looking for, but it didn't work for me .
I got these black borders but subtitles still remains on bottom of picture not whole image. Im using ffdshow version ffdshow-20030103.exe.
I found this resizing method quite odd. Why one have to specify new resolution because resolution varies with diffenrent movies.
What i'm looking for is simply method where black borders are added in bottom and top on image, no matter what resolution image is and it doesen't change original picture at all. AND subtitles are viewed in bottom on black border.

Yes, I tried that. However sound in choppy with ths combilation (ffdshow + dvobsub) also!
I bet this is HW overlay issue.
So I have to solve this hw problem somehow or I just need to configure ffdshow properly.
Only problem is how...

Oh I was talking about ffshow and using its own method for showing subs, not with vobsub. You need to resize to a bigger res from your movie in order to work this method.Dont ask me why I dont know.I only know it works:D
