Hi,
I demuxed the mpgeg 2 video stream from a PAL VOb.
Then I converted it to NTSC via CanopusProcoder.
The resulting file displays 9 little squares on the top right hand corner... I think I have seen them before, but I wonder what they are anyway. Can you please help me ? :)

do you know how I can get rid of them ?
The m2v stream I am transcoding does not come from a DV source but from a DVD. It seems it is ProCoder that adds them :(

Actually I got it !
It was the watermark of a MPEG2 codec.
To get rid of it : uninstall all your DVD players apps and all your codecs !
Just sucks the watermark did not say where it was comin from...

I believe they are added by the Elecard mpeg2 codec.

I think you are right ! :)
I think they came from my SLD codec pack install. Such a shame for such a good pack that it has such flaws...

You can pay $20 to make the elecard watermark go away. It only appears in the free version.

lucky you .. the new codec lets the squares jump around in the middle of the screen. :(
anyone knows a good mpeg2 codec without that stuff?
