I just received a shipment of 5 of these. I burt the first disc and the only thing I can read it in is my Pioneer A05.

First impression: These seem to be worse than the CD-Recordables.com media that I bought. My Panasonic stand alone is pickey but my Malata is a beast and reads everything I've tried except the BeAll media. My Hitachi DVD-Rom won't even read the disc I burnt.

I will burn another one tonight and also will post my Nero DVD Speed results.

I read at least one post where someone claimed they had good luck with these so I'm realy suprised.

The recording surface is a lighter purple than most discs I've used.

Test #2:

Cendyne A05 (rebaged Pioneer)
ImageTool 1.00.2
Speed 1x

Basically same conditions with the exception of using ImageTool instead of RecordNow Max.

Results: Currently playing in my fussy Panasonic.

It's odd that my first coaster was from this new media. I've burned hundreds of discs with my A03 and a couple of dozen with the A05 with the only coasters being discs that I authored incorrectly.

Three more discs to go, will keep you posted on the further results.

Tests #3 & #4

Cendyne A05 (rebaged Pioneer)
ImageTool 1.00.3
Speed 1x

Working and playing fine. The first disc may have just be coincidence or could have been something with RecordNow. I've tested the media in a PS/2 (don't know the revision number, it's not mine) and it played flawlessly.

Seems to burn fine but only at 1x.
