I am trying to figure out why after creating a MOVIE ONLY compilation with IFOEDIT or DVD2One that my stand alone plays Direcory Commentary sound track instead of 5.1.

The same DVD plays properly in IFOEDITs viewer prior to Burning Disc... and Disc plays properly on computer.

According to IFOEDIT my tracks are as follows:

Audio 1: English (Dolby AC-3)6ch 48Kbps DRC (ID: 0x80)
Audio 2: English (Dolby AC-3)2ch 48Kbps DRC director's comments (ID: 0x82)

Further I have:

Audio stream 1 status 32768 [8000]
Audio stream 1 uses stream nr.: 0
Audio stream 2 status 33280 [8200]
Audio stream 2 uses stream nr.: 2

Why does my stand alone pick the second track while my computer selects the first track...? Any Help..?

Thanks guys... Jeff

PS - My stand alone results occured with both a Mintek and two different models of Apex.

Try playing the finished VIDEO_TS folder in IFOEdit's DVD player and select the proper audio track, then force save ifo's and try burning then.

I'm not sure this will work but I had a strange happening once where before burning I turned on a subtitle just for kicks and the disc I burned automatically started with the sub turned on to begin with.

I think DVD player mucks with the ifo's.

Good Luck
