Iīve read a lot of forum information about Ifoedit and related user problems, but didnīt come across my own problem:

Iīve got a juvenile *.mpg - file as one movie in one piece of about 4 Mb without any chapter information. Now I demuxed that file into one *.m2v videofile and a connected *.mpa soundfile.

Afterwards I authored succesfully a new DVD with Ifoedit, but could not create my own chapterpoints under "scene changes/chapters/position". I tried to test some selfmade (celltimes) *.txt- files, but so far without satisfiing results.

I feel, that there is a problem with something I do not know about.

How can I tell Ifoedit to create my own chapterpoints say after 20 min, 50 min, 1:40 hours etc. ?

If someone is interested I could tell about my experience in bringing DVB-s *.pva-streams onto DVD with Ifoedit. Unfortunately most of forum information deals with 1:1 DVD-copies.
I can assure you, the way from air to DVD is much easier !!!
With lots of thanks to the authers of Ifoedit,

padoc

Since you have a .M2V & .MPA, you can use a simple authoring program like SpruceUp to set your chapters and you can make yourself a menu along the way. Here's the guide in Doom9 for you to read and consider.

When I was using IFOEdit to author (pre-DVD2One), I concocted my on chapter point on several occasions with no problem.

Just save celltimes on a proper DVD (to use as a sample) and make sure you use the correct format.

Good Luck!
