View Full Version : Problem with IFOedit and Star Wars EP2

If I use IFOedit .91 the menus don't come out right, so when I use IFOedit .95 everything seems to work except:

If I play the Disc1 folder in POWERDVD it stops just before the multi-angle star wars beginning scroll starts and says: "The DVD disc might have been damaged so as to inhibit playback operation"
If I burn it anyway it plays ok in my PS2 without errors but obviously there is something wrong. I stipped out the angles except angle 1 with DVD-Decrypter and I changed the number of angles in the VIDEO_TS.IFO file from 3 to 1. What should I do?

On disc 2 I have it jump to title so when I am ready to begin I select "play movie" and it should start at the new chapter 1 but it just locks up. If I go into chapters and select chapter one it plays fine. What did I do wrong here?

I've done a search and most of the problems seemed to be different than these.

Also, I can't burn these images as data folders with RecordNow DX, it crashes or gives me an error evertime I try. The only way I can get this move copied with ifoedit and burned via RecordNow DX is without menu's via this guide: http://www.dvdr-digest.com/articles/articles.php?article_id=12&page=3

UPDATE:
Well, I've figured out a work-around. Use IFOedit .91 for disc 1 and remove angles (except angle 1). Use IFOedit .95 for Disc 2 so the menu's come out right. Then I use Dimad's menu editing tool to diable unused DVD menu buttons. I convert the folders to image files and burn with DVD Decrypter. Works great so far...
