Hi, I've got a movie, which already is encoded at 29,97 drop. But when i want to import this asset in Maestro, it gets an GOP sequence error. So the only solution (that I'm aware of) is to encode again.

So here is my problem, when I encoded it. It came out as 23.976. Then I performed pulldown to get it accepted by Mestro. Now it will import, but the subtitle will not sync. Even after performing dropframe, it will not sync.

Is this because my original asset already had drop frame? How do my subtitles get sync now?

Can you please help me to explain how the options must be set with this movie?

Sorry for my English

thanks in advance

Have a look at Trilight's DVD 9 to DVD 5 full copy guide on Doom9.org, not the one that Doom9 recently made. In it there is a trick that might help sync the subs. It has to do with using a different Pulldown command on the same video twice. Importing one of them, then importing the subs, the removing the different one and replacing it with the normal one.

Anyway have a look. I know the whole guide doesn't apply, but this part might help with the sub sync.
