help!
i used ifoedit to create the ifo files for me. i only had the vob's from a dvd i ripped. when i play the dvd on my pc, it plays perfectly fine. if i pop it into my stand alone player on my tv, it will not play. i wonder if it's getting hung on the video_ts file??
what should i do? thanks.

(Sarcastic tone) Wow you sure have given us tons of info to work with.
What did you burn the DVD with?
Are you sure your stand alone supports DVD recordables? Have you successfully made them before?
If you try DVD play in IFOEdit does it work there?
Did you use IFOEdit to create the image?
If you burned with Nero, EZ-CDCreator or basically anything, but the following reburn with one of these.
RecordNOW Max
DVD Decrypter
Prassi Primo DVD

Did you do the 'Get VTS Sectors' in IFO edit when it was finished.
If you didn't this would be the most common reason for it not working

WOW! ATTACK!
sorry i wasn't more verbose. yes, i can play dvd-r/rw media on my player. i'm not that green. i did run the vts sector option in ifoedit. the disc plays fine in both ifoedit and power dvd. it's just that my set top player doesn't like something i've done.
i was just looking for some direction. once again.. disc works in pc, disc does not work in standalone.
thanks.
