Hi,
I've now create 3 DVDs with ReelDVD. Each of the DVD has no time code. The real time counter does not show.
Is this a setup problem in Reel?
Or is there a way to just put in the time code numbers?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
All the best, James

Auenf,
Thanks! I did not see that. I did search Sonic user's group.
Is there a way to add time codes with another program that anyone knows of?
Thanks again, James

I don't know if it will work in ReelDVD but you could try edit the video_ts.ifo file (with ifoedit). I experienced the same with DVD-A. Have a look at my post in the following thread and see if you can use the same approach with ReelDVD: http://www.sonicfoundry.com/forums/ShowMessage.asp?MessageID=154820&Replies=11&Page=3

im pretty sure that you cant get around it with Reeldvd 2.5, cause it compiles everything as a menu or something in the background. (i havent tried 2.5, only 3.x) From my use of 3.x, ive found that you get a timecode tho.

Auenf,
I'm using ReelDVD 3.03 and when I play in on a Philips DVD player I do not see any time codes. When I play in with Sonic Cineplay I do see the time codes.
So, is the time there and the Philips just doesn't read it? What's your experience with other DVD players?
Thanks, James

im pretty sure i saw timecodes...
chapter 1 was the intro logo, chapter 2 was the menu(s), and the rest of the chapters were the movie...
