Er, the dumb rental house incorrectly labeled the thing as having BOTH editions. I started playing it on the tv, and the menu was 16x9(making me think the flix was to). But the actual movie was 4x3, hence when I ripped it, and previewed the vob's, they were 4x3.

There was no info bud, all just my lack of thoroughness.
