Ben Cooley made that, but stopped at version 1.07. His is good for stripping out a single program stream.

GrantR also made later versions that display a video window and allow you to cut out sections of the files (commercials). But while these version (1.09 & 1.10) save nicely to transport streams they may have broken the ability to save program streams. I use 1.09 and can post it or find the link if anyone is interested. I don't think GrantR has a site or ever published the source but he did post the dll's in a thread on the AVS Forum once.

And yes, an HDTV downloads section might be nice. ;)

I think 1.09 is probably the most reliable for cutting commercials. 1.10 has more buttons and features but will often hang. But either way choose Save as a Transport Stream.

I'm not sure any of them can reliably make an MPEG2 file that plays in most player though the results can usually at least be fed to DVD2AVI without needing the special save-oe version.
